I found Santa's roller coaster during my move, and I just couldn't wait to set it up around my xmas tree and show it off!

For all you dog (and animal) lovers!
Here is a lovely, sweet song by Will about his dog Winston - and a universal ballad to all animal lovers everywhere, and a tribute to how these furry creatures enrich our lives.

You and I
Here's a Wilco song I've been enjoying of late. I thought the gang may want to try playing it when we get together (soon.)

Why Jeff is Not a Youth Pastor
Mollypalooza!
Forgotten footage has recently surfaced of this amazing weekend (I had literally forgotten that I had taken any video of the event. (I swear I put the "Al" in Alzheimer's disease))
Here is a powerful rendition of 'Stepping Stone'
Followed by a brain storming session (oops, to be politically correct, I meant to say 'thought shower') to try to make this monkees' classic less intimidating to the gentler midwestern sensibilities...

Feeling a little blue on a Tuesday afternoon, El Jefe decides to learn an Andrew Bird song...
Not a mistake free version of course, when are they ever? But I like how the camera couldn't keep up at some points, creating unintentional Special Effects! And I like the improv whistling solo that eventually falls apart. If you know Andrew Bird, you know whistling is very Andrew Bird. He played here in Desa Moinehans a few weeks ago, ser good, ser ser good with the music bits that fellow.

I love my local Winn Dixie for its eclectic muzak
Tonight as I was shopping I heard Elvis' version of Blue Eyes Cryin' In the Rain, and the follow up... Because The Night. It is all too good.

Al: Shrinkage Comptroller
I do not have a cool-ass video or pictures to upload, although I wish I did. I just have a cute little story to tell.
Al, Evan and I went WalMart Walking the other day. While WalMart Walking, Al told me he WalMart Walks so often that even WalMart employees think he works there. Once some dude fork-lifting palettes said to Al, "Hey. They want you up front." Another time a customer queried if Al conducted shrinkage control.
Which is not so very far from wrong. Al is kind of in charge of "shrinkage control" where ever he goes, yes?

Because the Night
I know that Roxy has been doing this song for several years already. So I thought if I was going to 'wow' anyone with my interpretation, it would be crucial that I:
(1)upload my version before she uploads her's
(2) pepper it with a creepy yet compelling video effect
and
(3) give it my patented segue spin.
This time my segue is based on the premise that Bruce Springsteen refused to co-write a song with Patti Smith once he discovers that she is a girl. (We have all seen 'Jersey Shore', we know how sexist all guys from New Jersey are.) He'd be all like,"Pat, the guy with the hairy armpits, is a GIRL!?! No way, I'm outta here!" So Patti would have to call in a fellow 'riot grrrl' to help finish writing the song. And I think the results would sound a little...something...like...THIS!

It is Not Important How I Discovered This
It is only important that I did discover this!
By doing a little research, I discovered that there is still a similar product on the market. It is called the "Daddle" and below is a cautionary review of said product which, no doubt will seem most salient to a horsewoman like Molly.

This review is from: The Daddle By Cashel (Misc.)
Please note that this Daddle is Western Style and will not be appropriate for those trained in the English Father Riding Method whereby one holds a rein in each hand and posts the trot. If you are looking forward to father jumping, father fox hunting, father polo or daddy dressage you will not be able to use this Daddle. Western Daddle riders hold the reins with one hand, and sit the trot. The pommel or horn on this Daddle is meant to hold a lariat which is useful when roping cattle or other competing or unruly fathers.
