Here we have it, some video footage from the rollicking time we had at Tim and Suzi's this weekend. Thanks for inviting us out to your farm both Friday and Saturday, it was a great time!

It is cool to hear an original from our tribe, maybe this will get us all to start writing again, and we will get some more original material on the HIA. How 'bout it gang? Jefe and Ericka have thrown down the gauntlet!

Knowing Me...Knowing You... (uh, huh)

There is plenty of video from this weekend, but I want to clear it with the principles before i post it. You know, get all the proper release forms signed and whatnot. (So many within our group can become so litigious) I gave Rox a copy of all the raw video, so if she wants to post some of it, that's cool...i just don't want to hear someone in our group complain to me,"Why did you make me look like such a rockstar?!? You know I'm working really really hard at becoming a librarian!!!" (And to that I reply,"Well, try wearing a little less leopard print.")

Any hoo, that's why this isn't any of the footage from the two (2) raucous nights of parties at Tim and Suzi's, but rather, in it's stead, my rendition of an ABBA song.

But here is a little something I've been working on: Jen's Lekman's "Your Arms Around Me." I love this song so much and couldn't believe it when I found the chords.

And for those snots - OK, I won't define them as snots but rather people displaying snotty characteristics - who said (I won't mention names, so don't worry about me revealing your identity, SEHOP and Sassmaster) I "never" show my face in videos . . . I hope you're happy! AND I recorded a BETTER version where you COULDN'T see my huge face - and I STILL posted THIS one!! Now we ALL Have to live with this monstrosity!!!

A post about poop

I sing about poop a lot. I don't know why.

As most human beings do, I tend to have several songs running through my head everyday. As some human beings do, I tend to sing aloud the songs that are running through my head. And as at least one human being does (me), I change the lyrics of the song in order to make the song be about poop.

Here is what I was singing this morning.

Hello HIA.
Just a quick note to tell ya'll ya'll that Man of Science is kaput, out-a-here, gone daddy gone. And that's OK! I mean what, one post maybe? I think that's about all the loser came up with in the span of three years. It seems that I was not inspired by the persona of a crotchety, pedantic, ranting Scientist guy. Or maybe I was just busy and kind of shy. Who really knows. That muse has flown.

So Man of Science has been replaced by my regular 'ol nickname over in the contributors list over yonder. I feel much freer now to post about any old thing--like poop and stuff.
