You All Ready For This?

I really hate to put you into cute overload so early in the week, but i had to share these. Part of my job is to make centerpieces for our board dinners, I usually try to incorporate things from the thrift shop, we were fortunate enough to get some donations of vintage knick-knacks recently. So this is what happened.....My work here is done.

Meow meow so cute meow meow!

Hmmmm...the need to truss up faux fauna seems to flow heartily through the veins of all the Abeln sisters.

Damn girlfriend! Those are fierce! They may even rival your bitchin' ikebana. Oooh! I think you should incorporate vintage tchotkes into ikebana .. the world wouldn't know what hit 'em.

Well, I hope I'll be the first to know. It makes me giddy just thinking about it.

how very beutiful and provacative . . . it reminds me of the early work of Francis Bacon . . .

i don't suppose those ADORABLE kitty figurines are still available . . . someone's sister would sure love those. the one that lives in Vermillion!

I was just checking in to let you know I truly appreciated your work (once I recovered from the initial OD) but then I realized I am in ignorance of this ikebana thing. Any chance of enlightenment?

ikebana is a japanese flower arranging stlye. it has alot of rules even though it looks kind of informal. when you and mary came to visit, mary and i made some but this was after you left. we pretended we were world famous ikebana designers.
