When I am not hanging out with Matthew, and wearing ridiculous things on my sleeves, I like to arrange flowers

Spring Finally Sprung in Topeka

We had a nice day in the 60s today. I went hiking in the woods at the governors and hit a wet spot and fell completely down on my bottom. Didn't get hurt, but later ran into an ATA (Al Type Alert) and he fell down last winter and broke 4 ribs. I counted my blessing (1) that I only got muddy. Lets see, the midland fawn lilies are blooming in the woods, first wildflowers of spring.

Design Idea from Medora, ND

Take a rock or piece of petrified wood, circle it with patriotic petunias, circle the petunias with more rocks stuck in concrete, circle the concrete with a wood walkway, and then place a few benches around the walkway to ensure comfortable rock-viewing.

Lilacs Are Blooming in Denver

Any of you familiar with the song "Tulips are Blooming in Michigan" should use that tune to sing the title, whether to customers or anyone else who happens to be near enough to be annoyed.

I know about the lilacs in Denver, because I am now employed and spent the first week of work in a 40 hour safety training in that fair city.

You All Ready For This?

I really hate to put you into cute overload so early in the week, but i had to share these. Part of my job is to make centerpieces for our board dinners, I usually try to incorporate things from the thrift shop, we were fortunate enough to get some donations of vintage knick-knacks recently. So this is what happened.....My work here is done.
