Musky & Pheas Update

i can't BELIEVE you guys haven't been checking up on our favourite taxidermied critters . . .

and i KNOW you haven't, because how could you NOT comment on how adorable their current outfits are?? i made those little puffer jackets (well, puffer cape for the Pheas) with my own ovary scratchers! frankly, not to blow my own fashion-forward design horn, i made all their accessories as well.

I'm doing my best not to be offended. Jean-Paul has told me to expect that not everyone will recognise the significance of my work. probably, i'm ahead of my time.

My New Years

I went to a new years dinner at my friend mara's. He kid bought thousands of noise makers. One was a pressurized blow horn. I thought it would be fun to blow out a candle with the blow horn. An adult male said it wasnt flamable. I couldnt get the candles to go out. So the kid tried it, and he kept blowing it, and then a nice cloud of flames. I guess the warning "do not incinerate" also means "do not spray at candles"

WInter Haiku

It seems there have been some stress related posts lately. In fact, I would submit that regardless of the Uppity bullshit from my first post, the Uppitiness in this blog is unrestrained. As a protocol of relaxation I suggest repeating this mantra at least 15 times during a 3o minute timeout you give yourself.

The snow is deeper than my dog is tall
Push it, push it
Fuck that, fuck'em all

And for the doubters, that is a Haiku on two levels - nature is invoked and there is an emotional ending. Wish I had some visuals to add.

Unsuspecting Models Lured into North Woods for Unusual Fashion Show

Two naive Midwesterners were taken on a extraordinary trip last fall, when a suave fellow from the East persuaded them to model what he called "a new line of winter sporting goods" on a photo shoot in the north woods of Minnesota.
"You wouldn't believe how far we had to go for these pictures," exclaimed Denise Hardesty, one of the hard working models. "We canoed for days just to take a couple of shots. There was no crew to carry our stuff, except this one guy, Ben, and we all slept in the same tent. It was a little weird."
"Yeah, and you shoulda seen these clothes," said Mary Connor, who is shown here in a fetching hunter-orange poncho. "I mean a teal hat and pink and maroon striped gloves with all that orange? Who's this guy think he is? Donatella Versace?"
"What about me?!" Hardesty added. "Cucumber green with violet and yellow accessories?! Even Backpacker Today won't go for that!"
The models say that they lived in harsh conditions for a week, dealing with cold, snow, and wind, though it wasn't all bad. "Most of the skin on my face chapped after a week of cold and blowing snow," Connor explained. "I saved a lot of money on dermabrasion."
"Yeah and all that paddling got my arms really toned," Hardesty noted. "But we still haven't gotten paid. What's up with that?"
The shadowy Easterner, known to the women as "Joe," could not be reached for comment.

waa waa waaaaaaaaaaaa

Okay, So I'm thinking as I am laying here in bed, what did i deserve to be in this condition. It all started at the grocery store, I bot grocs and forgot I had put water in the underside of the cart. As I was leaving I thot, cool I just shoplifted.

I get home and I put out birdseed for the wild birds. I also decide to take twig cuttings of various trees in my yard to test them for bast fibers for paper making. As I'm coming in I hit a patch of ice at thecorner of my house and twist and fall and writhe in agony. I was barely able to get up to crawl in the house.

I whine about for a while, and finally muster the energy to get my groceries out fo the car. Thats when I notice. They charged me for my shoplifted water. Do they have an ankle hieght scanner. or did checkboy just notice it and charge me. Anyway. I thot karma was knocking me on my ass for shoplifting. but i didnt shoplift. SOOOOOOOOO why did i fall and sprain, or possible break my ankle? PLEASE HELP MEEEEEEEE.
