Interesting little clip, SB. I prickled at the Farber "boys" wondering if there were any girls out there benefiting from his encouragement. I did like the segment of his speech and the idea of belieiving in the possiblility to do good. Any of you USD alumni take any Farber classes? I have to admit I don't remember the bit about the flags being at half-mast. And I confess, I had no idea Brokaw was a USD grad.
Yerp -- various debater-heads took Farber classes as undergrads. Also, the poli sci dept is pretty awesome right now. I have some friends who teach for it and they are all about the social justice and one does a lot of work with political trials in Central America.
