I present 2 divas interpreting a one hit wonder of lasting importance. I believe it is crucial for the audience to understand this is a comparison of two equals in the industry and not a competition between two self-absorbed hacks struggling for attention in a world that cares less and less about their life (not to mention their inestimable talents.)

I personally prefer the first one. The tempo of the second one suggests a certain unseemly desperation.
LURVE IT!
I concur. The second version makes me uncomfortable - nothing about it "loose" and "light" -- it is more of a frenzy that makes me worry that Kool-Aid is going to be spilled and someone is going to wind up with mayo in their eye (I'm extending the metaphor that this son is about a lovely and relaxed outdoor get-to-gether).
Not to mention the high production vales of the FIRST version!
